ALTURAS, California (May 29, 2014) —  An elderly man on a bicycle was suffered significant injuries Thursday morning in a hit-and-run car accident on the eastbound California State Route 299 in this small town just northeast of Red Bluff, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.

Modoc County Sheriff Officers and CHP are now searching for the hit-and-run driver in a black vehicle with stickers on the window and tool box.
