FRESNO: Motorcyclist in Crash at Shaw and Palm Avenues

Fresno Motorcycle crash in Hesperia near Fastrip Gas Station on Main StreetFRESNO, California (April 14, 2016) — A motorcyclist was injured Thursday afternoon when he or she was sideswiped by a driver at West Shaw and North Palm avenues, a California Highway Patrol report said.

The crash took place about 1:21 p.m. today. Police initially reported the motorcyclist struck the vehicle and “went flying,” but then the report was updated to state that the bike was sideswiped by the vehicle.

Paramedics responded to help the injured rider who suffered minor injuries. C & K Towing was sent to remove at least one damaged vehicle. Liability for the crash may be in question as both drivers often blame the other in crashes such as this one, but a full investigation into the cause of the crash will determine liability.

Motorcycle riders are often found at fault in cases such as this one, even when they are not to blame. That is why it’s important to have an experienced attorney represent you in a claim such as this one.
