Gregory Konakis Killed in San Francisco Accident at Brotherhood Way and Junipero Serra Boulevard
SAN FRANCISCO (May 12, 2016)- According to the San Francisco Gate, Gregory Konakis, 77, of Daly City, has been identified as the man killed in a collision with motorcyclist Tuesday evening.
The collision occurred at 10:25 p.m. as Gregory Konakis crossed the intersection in a marked crosswalk at Brotherhood Way and Junipero Serra Boulevard.
The 77-year-old Daly City man was suddenly struck by a 47-year-old male motorcyclist.
Konakis sustained fatal injuries and was therefore pronounced deceased at the scene located near San Francisco Golf Club, per the SF Gate.
The 47-year-old motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized to an unknown extent.
No other details have been released at this time.
