Man Critical, 3 Children Injured After 2-Car Collision in Lancaster on Avenue K at 20th Street East
LANCASTER, California (May 10, 2016) – A man was critical and 6 others were injured following a collision on Avenue K at 20th Street East, according to an article by The AV Times.
The accident happened on May 4 at around 5:05 p.m.
As per the article, a silver 2004 Ford Freestar was at the intersection preparing to make a northbound turn from the eastbound Avenue K when it was suddenly struck by an oncoming westbound blue 2006 Chevy Tahoe.
The force from the impact resulted in major trauma to the man occupying the front passenger seat of the Ford. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Injuries were also sustained by the Ford driver, and five Tahoe occupants—the driver, one adult passenger, and three child passengers.
The names of the involved have not been released at this time.
Investigation remained underway.
