Motorcycle VS Car Collision in North Highlands at Madison and Hillside
NORTH HIGHLANDS, Sacramento County (May 15, 2016) – A motorcyclist was killed and two others were injured following a traffic collision at Madison Avenue and Hillside Boulevard, according to an article by Sacbee.
The accident happened on May 15 at around 2:20 a.m.
As per the article, officers attempted to stop a 2000 Yamaha motorcycle on Watt Avenue but instead of pulling over, the rider led officers to a chase.
Shortly after the incident, officers located the Yamaha motorcycle involved in a collision with a 1996 Honda car.
The force from the impact resulted in the motorcyclist overthrown to the ground. He was immediately rescued and transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to death.
Two more parties were hurt from the crash. The Honda driver and its passenger sustained minor injuries that were given medical aid at the scene.
The names of the involved parties have not been released at this time pending notification of the victim’s family members.
