San Jose 2-Vehicle Crash on 680 Freeway Sends One to Hospital
The crash involving a red Nissan 4-door and a gray or gold colored vehicle took place shortly before 5:30 p.m., near McKee Road off-ramp.
As per the report log, San Jose Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to a female victim who was injured following the collision.
The patient was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. Her name was not released.
Meanwhile, the dispatch said the Nissan sedan obtained minor front-end damage upon impact. The No. 5 lane was closed due to the crash.
