Man Fatally Struck by 2 Vehicles in Ontario on 10 Freeway
ONTARIO, California (May 8, 2016) – A man was killed following a 120-mph chase on 10 Freeway Saturday morning, according to Fox 40.
The accident happened at around 1:00 a.m.
Preliminary report stated that a 26-year-old man, from Long Beach, was driving a Honda Civic and led police officers to a chase when it evaded a call to pull over on 10 Freeway in Claremont.
The chase continued onto 15 Freeway in Ontario, as mentioned in the article. There, the Honda went out of control and struck a guardrail.
The Fox 40 published that Honda motorist immediately got out after the wreck, ran and jumped off the overpass onto 10 Freeway below.
He fell on the freeway where he was fatally struck by two vehicles.
It remained under investigation on what led to the man’s actions.
No immediate information was provided on the involved parties.
Officers assigned to handle the case continue to gather more evidences before providing closure and citations.
