SAN BERNARDINO: 2 Injured, Big Rig Crosses Center Divider Lands on top of Pickup on 215 Freeway

SAN BERNARDINO, California (July 2, 2014) — Two people were hospitalized after a big rig truck veered into opposing traffic and landed on top of a pickup truck on the Interstate 215 Freeway at Inland Center Drive early Wednesday night, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP report, the driver of a black F-150 pickup truck was trapped in the vehicle after it was struck by the truck that flew over the center divider of the freeway from the northbound to the southbound side. The big rig truck reportedly overturned on top of the pickup truck and dumped its load. The pickup truck driver was trapped in the wreckage.
Both the driver of the big rig and the pickup truck were transported by ambulance to Loma Linda Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
