SAN BERNARDINO: Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-run Crash on Waterman Avenue

SAN BERNARDINO, California (October 2, 2015) –A woman walking on Waterman Avenue between Orange Show and Norman roads was injured Friday morning when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.

UPDATE: Pedestrian dies of injuries. Identified as Darlena Santiago, 63.

The pedestrian accident was reported at 7 a.m. to police. Paramedics responded and transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Police closed down a portion of the roadway to conduct an investigation into the crash and are searching for the suspect driver.
