Man Crushed to Death While Operating a Machine
SAN FRANCISCO, California (May 13, 2016) – A man was killed while operating a machine in a below-ground area of a Moscone South building on Third Street, according to an article by SF Gate.
The fatal incident happened on May 13 at around 6:45 a.m.
As per the article, a male construction worker was operating a large cherry picker. He was in the bucket of the large boom and attempted to load it onto the back of a flatbed truck.
The man suddenly came in contact with a concrete structure during the process.
The man was crushed between the operating machine and a concrete slab. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The name of the victim has not been released at this time pending notification of the victim’s family members.
