SAN RAFAEL: Man and Woman Pedestrians Injured in Crash on Lincoln Avenue

SAN RAFAEL, California (May 18, 2016) – A 47-year-old man was critical while a 44-year-old woman was in serious condition after a pedestrian crash on Lincoln Avenue at Grand Avenue, according to an article by Marinij.

The accident happened on May 17 at around 6:00 p.m.

As per the report, the middle-aged man and woman attempted to cross from the southbound of Lincoln when an oncoming Jeep Cherokee suddenly struck them.

The force of the impact resulted in severe injuries to both parties. They were rescued and transported to a nearby hospital where the man was listed in critical condition while the woman was in serious but stable condition.

The 67-year-old female Jeep driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities after the collision.

The names of the involved parties have not been released at this time.
