Injured Suffers Major Trauma
OROVILLE, California (August 24, 2016) – At least one person was hurt following a multi-vehicle collision at Highway 99 and Shippee Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident occurred on August 24, Wednesday at around 5:50 p.m.
In detail, the CHP mentioned about three to four vehicles were involved in a wreck. Located at the scene were a Ford Escapade, a red minivan, and 2 other sedans. The multi-car crash resulted in injuries to an unspecified number of parties. Further, one person was reported to have been taken to a hospital for proper treatment. The names of the involved were not immediately disclosed due to coroners still notifying their next of kin.
This incident is logged as a major injury collision. Investigation is ongoing.
