WILDOMAR, California (June 19, 2016) – One person died and several were hospitalized as a result of a rollover crash in the parking lot of Inland Valley Medical Center, according to an article by Patch and Press Enterprise.
The accident happened on June 18 at around 3:50 a.m.
In detail, the article mentioned one from the seven victims has later succumbed to its injuries after being hospitalized. As of June 20, three parties with major injuries remained at Inland Valley Medical Center; one person also with major trauma and another with minor injuries are at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Lastly, another victim suffering in minor injuries stayed at Temecula Valley Hospital.
Initial investigation said a 1995 Chevy Tahoe was headed north on Interstate 15. Suddenly, the SUV veered off onto the left shoulder and swerved back through all lanes and into the right shoulder. Then, it rolled down the embankment and came to rest in the hospital parking lot.
The driver fled after the crash.
The involved were not yet identified as officers continue to work on notifying their families. But the news affirmed all of the injured passengers were between ages 19 and 29, and also from Mexico.
