2 Critically Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision
PALMDALE, Calif. (July 8, 2024) – Children were among ten people injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on Pearblossom Highway at Small Road in Palmdale.
The traffic accident occurred at around 8:05 p.m. on July 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a silver Nissan sedan reportedly entered Pearblossom Highway while making a left-hand turn from Small Road. An oncoming white SUV apparently T-boned the car, the report said.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located two people with major injuries, two with moderate injuries and six with minor injuries. Both vehicles were occupied by both children and adults, authorities said.
They requested helicopters to airlift the two critically injured patients to a hospital and transported the other eight patients to hospitals for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the white SUV sustained major front-end damage and a silver Nissan sedan had overall damaged after being pushed off the side of the road.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Palmdale crash on Pearblossom Highway.
