Car Accident Deer Valley Road Leaves 2 Hurt
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (April 27, 2018) — Two motorists were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Deer Valley and Marsh Creek roads, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The car accident was reported at 7:37 a.m. The report stated that a driver in a gray Audi Q7 traveling south on Deer Valley Road reportedly and turned left onto eastbound Marsh Creek Road into the path of a blue Land Rover Discovery. The Land Rover had been headed westbound on Marsh Creek and was unable to avoid hitting the Audi.
At this time it appears that the driver in the Audi did not have the right-of-way and could be held responsible for this collision. The initial report indicated this driver turned into the path of the Land Rover. Police are reviewing the evidence and interviews with those involved and witnesses to piece together what happened. Our law firm has fought for victim’s rights and to obtain justice for them for more than a decade. If a negligent driver or entity is at fault for a collision resulting in injuries to you or a loved one, there may be grounds for a civil lawsuit or personal injury claim. While this is always a personal decision, for many the financial losses associated with a traffic accident are significant.
It’s important to note, however, that it’s quite common for insurance companies to try and avoid paying out a claim even when they know their insured is responsible. They may also make an offer to settle for far less than the full amount owed.
