BAKERSFIELD, California — According to an article by Bakersfield Now, two children suffered injuries after a car crashed along Niles Street.
The accident took place on March 25, Saturday afternoon.
As per the report, an SUV slammed through a residential unit’s fence and front porch in the 2500 block of the street resulting in injuries to two children. It was not immediately clear if the young victims were inside the wrecked vehicle, or were pedestrians at the area during the time of the collision.
Both injured parties were transported to a hospital as a precautionary measure, as per Bakersfield Now.
Investigators continue to look into the cause of the injury crash.
