ACTON, California (July 11, 2016) – Two were hospitalized after a solo-car accident Monday morning along Highway 14, according to The Santa Clarita Valley Signal.
The collision took place just after 10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 14 near Santiago Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a white BMW plummeted more than 100 feet down an embankment and overturned.
Los Angeles County Fire Department affirmed that two occupants riding in the car at the time were pinned inside following the crash. They were extricated from the vehicle and was immediately taken to a trauma center with unspecified injuries.
Their names and condition at this time were not available.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
