At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision
The crash, described in the incident log as a major injury, was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m.
CHP said a silver Chevrolet Malibu was seen stuck on the guardrail after colliding with another vehicle on Highway 89, two miles south of Cold Creek Campground.
As per the dispatch, fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found two wounded people following the wreck. At least one of the victims was confirmed to have suffered major injuries upon impact.
Both patients were transported to Renown Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment. Their names and condition were unknown.
Meanwhile, the dispatch mentioned that the roadway was slick with snow at the time of the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
