2 Hurt in Orange Car Accident Hewes Street and Bond Avenue

Two Hospitalized After Crash at N. Hewes Street and E. Bond Avenue
Orange, CA (April 18, 2025) — Two people were transported to the hospital Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Hewes Street and East Bond Avenue in Orange, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash, which occurred shortly after 12:00 p.m. on April 18th, involved a black Toyota and a white Honda Civic. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, with one patient transported to OC Global Medical Center and another taken to an undisclosed hospital.
Both vehicles remained in the intersection following the impact, blocking traffic as CHP and fire crews worked to assist the injured and clear the scene. Tow trucks from Southside Tow and Archie’s were called to remove the disabled vehicles.
The intersection was temporarily closed during the response. Authorities have not yet released the identities or conditions of the individuals involved.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the CHP Santa Ana Area Office.
