SANTA MARIA, California (July 26, 2016) – Two were injured after a car struck a Jamba Juice store Monday afternoon, according to Noozhawk.
The collision was reported at 4:45 p.m. to the Jamba Juice located in the College Square shopping center at the corner of East Betteravia Road and South College Drive.
As per the article, Santa Maria police said the driver of a Honda Prelude allegedly confused the gas and brake pedals, causing the vehicle to hit the glass doors and crashed approximately 6 feet into the building.
A Jamba Juice customer and a passenger in the Honda suffered injuries considered as minor and were treated at the scene.
Meanwhile, police added the building did not obtain any structural damage. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to have played a role in the incident which is still under investigation.
