CROCKETT, California — According to an article by San Francisco CBS, two people were injured after a pursuit ended in a 3-car crash on Interstate 80 freeway Tuesday afternoon.
As per officials, Vallejo police were pursuing a Mercedes at around 3:18 p.m. on the westbound of the interstate just east of San Pablo Avenue. The pursuit crossed the Carquinez Bridge, and ended in a hit-and-run collision involving the Mercedes, a Honda CRV, and a Honda Civic.
The California Highway Patrol was not involved in the pursuit but was investigating the accident and affirmed two parties were hurt from the wreck. One from the injured was further taken to a hospital for treatment.
No immediate information was provided on the hit-and-run suspects.
