ANTIOCH, California — A solo-car crash near Hillcrest and Sterling Hill drives resulted in two parties suffering in major injuries on November 27, according to an article by East Bay Times.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., a KIA Optima lost control on the road and slammed into a tree near the intersection.
Officers affirmed two parties from the wrecked vehicle were rescued and taken to the hospital.
As per the report, one of the victims was airlifted while the other was transported by land ambulance. Both were treated at John Muir Medical.
The victims were only described as a 21-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman. But law enforcement officials have yet to confirm this information.
Further investigation is underway due to several factors remain unclear.
