2 Severely Injured on Imperial Highway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2023) -Two people were severely injured early Monday morning in a crash on Imperial Highway near the Harbor 110 Freeway in Los Angeles.
It was the second of two collision involving a total of three vehicles.
The first of the two collisions happened at around 1:15 a.m. on Dec. 18th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police responded and they were talking to the drivers from the non-injury crash on Imperial Highway in South Los Angeles, Fox LA News reports.
However, while police were on the scene and investigating that collision, a third driver in a Honda Civic collided into the first two cars at high speed, police said.
Paramedics responded and rushed two people to the hospital including one who is listed in critical condition and the other with face lacerations. The police officers were not injured in the crash.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver from the Honda on DUI charges, but did not release the person’s name at this time.
The case remains under investigation.
