2 Injured in Crash on Hollywood 101 Freeway, Vermont Avenue

Two Hospitalized, Six Injured in Rollover Collision in East Hollywood

EAST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (June 19, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized due to injuries following a three-vehicle collision early Friday on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in East Hollywood.

The crash occurred on the eastbound US 101 around 1:45 a.m. on June 19th, near Vermont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision that left one of the vehicles overturned on its side in the bushes next to the freeway.

Paramedics and firefighters evaluated a total of eight people including minors, according the LAFD report.

Two of those injured were taken to hospitals, and the other six declined transportation due to minor injuries.

The cause of the crash and liability is under investigation.
