2 Critically Injured in Victorville Crash

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2023) — Two people were critically injured in a T-bone crash at Mojave Drive and Diamond Road in Victorville.

Also, a third driver was arrested on DUI charges after driving into the crash scene and almost hitting a deputy.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:55 p.m. on December 18th, according to Victor Valley News Group.

The Victorville City Fire was on the scene with the Jaws of Life to extricate one of the drivers who was trapped in a vehicle. The gray four-door sedan sustained major front-end damage. Also, the blue four-door sedan had major damage to the driver’s side door.

Two people suffered major injuries and were transported to trauma centers by medical helicopter to undergo life-saving treatment.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Department arrested the third driver on DUI charges. The 51-year-old man was not involved in the crash.

Police closed down Mojave Drive to conduct their investigation into what happened and determine fault for the crash. The Victorville Police Department is heading up the traffic investigation.
