RANCHO MIRAGE, California (December 15, 2016) – A traffic collision near Gerald Ford Drive and Bob Hope Drive sent two people to the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to KMIR. (map)
The accident took place around 12:15 p.m.
As per the article, a car struck a palm tree and then crashed into four other vehicles, including at least one which was parked at the time.
A total of two people were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Their names and condition at this time were not immediately released.
Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the incident.
