At Least 1 Seriously Injured
SHASTA COUNTY, California (July 15, 2016) – According to Record Searchlight, a major injury collision was reported on Highway 299 near Ingot Friday.
California Highway Patrol said the solo-car accident was reported at 11:02 a.m.
As per the article, a Ford Explorer went off the roadway and overturned on its roof. One person was ejected from the SUV during the crash.
A total of two people were injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment. At least one confirmed to have been seriously injured following the rollover incident.
The names and condition of the victims have not been yet disclosed.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the wreck.
