Fatality ID’d as Hector Gomez, 34, Maria Gomez, 67
HANFORD, California (July 10, 2016) – Two persons have been killed and two others were injured as a result of a crash at 11th and Idaho avenues, according to an article by Fresnobee.
The accident took place on July 8 at around 4:30 a.m.
In detail, the article mentioned a first car failed to yield at a stop sign. The event led the car to crash with an oncoming second vehicle at the intersection. The involved automobiles were a Toyota Prius and a GMC pickup.
The force from the impact resulted in two Toyota occupants suffering in fatal injuries. The deceased were later identified as 34-year-old Hector Gomez and 67-year-old Maria Gomez.
Two other individuals from the GMC sustained injuries and were likely given treatment at the scene.
Investigation is underway.
