The solo-vehicle accident was reported around 4 a.m. at Excalibur Drive.
As per the article, San Jose Police said a car was traveling south on Capitol Avenue when for an unknown reason slammed into the center divide.
The vehicle then struck the sound wall and became fully engulfed in flames upon impact. Two occupants in the burning car were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their names have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
