The collision took place about 9:30 p.m., just south of Fulton Street.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said 44-year-old Arturo Reyes was allegedly speeding south on West Lane when he lost control of the car.
Reyes hit a parked Chevrolet work truck, which rear ended a parked GMC truck and then plowed into a nearby home. The house sustained minor damage.
Two men traveling with Reyes died at the scene. Their names have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that Reyes was seriously injured following the wreck. The 44-year-old Stockton man was hospitalized and later arrested on DUI-related charges.
KCRA added that other vehicles, a dark-colored Chevrolet sedan, red/burgundy van, or a silver car, are believed to be involved. They were possibly headed south at the time of the incident.
