LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 21, 2018) — Two pedestrians were injured Thursday morning when they were struck by a driver who reportedly suffered a medical episode at Los Angeles International Airport, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision took place near Terminal 5 at LAX. Police are investigating whether or not the motorist was having a medical episode that led to the crash. The driver reportedly swerved into the pedestrians on the lower level loop road that runs through the airport. Paramedics responded and took two people to a hospital in unknown condition.
The crash is under investigation by police.

At this time, the crash is under investigation by police to determine fault. It appears to be an accident due to a medical emergency, however, the driver will still be held accountable for the injuries to the two victims.
