LOS ANGELES, California (August 8, 2016) –-Two female pedestrians were struck by an alleged drunken driver Sunday night at a taco stand at Vermont and West Slauson avenues, according to On Scene TV.
The crash took place about 11:30 p.m. last night.
The Los Angeles Police Department sent officers to the scene where witnesses told authorities that the suspected intoxicated driver had got into a dispute with a third individual. As the driver drove off he or she struck the two victims.
Paramedics transported the two women to a local hospital where they were listed in serious condition.
The LAPD’s Traffic Bureau is heading up the investigation into the crash.
