2-Vehicle Car Accident at McKean Road in South San Jose

SUV v. Car Collide at McKean Road and Whispering Oaks Drive

SOUTH SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 3, 2025) — Two vehicles were involved in a fatal car accident Thursday morning on McKean Road, just south of Whispering Oaks Drive in South San Jose.

The head-on collision occurred around 7 a.m. on April 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials the drivers of a white 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a brown Toyota Camry or Corolla sedan were involved. Upon impact, one of the vehicles went off the roadway and at least one person died following the crash.

Paramedics responded, however, it’s unknown if there were others who were hospitalized.

Tow trucks removed both vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the San Jose car accident on McKean Road.
