2 Injured in Crash on Cabrillo Highway 1 in Aptos
APTOS HILLS, Calif. (Nov. 11, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash on Cabrillo Highway 1 near Larkin Valley Road happened Friday morning in the Aptos Hills area.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes of SR-1 about 10:52 a.m. on Nov. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles were blocking the fast lane of the freeway and one of them was unmovable. Authorities closed down two lanes due to the crash and called for paramedics.
Two people were injured in the crash including one with a head injury and the other was a 55-year-old adult with complaints of chest pain.
Paramedics responded to help them, but it’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
