COTO DE CAZA, Calif. (June 15, 2018) — A silver Mazda 6 and a small gray Toyota RAV4 SUV collided today at Coto De Caza Drive and San Miguel, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 10:54 a.m. this morning. The vehicles were blocking the roadway when someone called 911 to request paramedics. Both vehicles were badly damaged and required tow trucks to remove them from the scene. It’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
The crash remains under investigation to determine fault.

It is unknown at this time who is going to be held responsible for this collision. There are still many unanswered questions. Certainly police want to know who had the right-of-way. As they investigate the crash, police will also seek to find out if any unsafe lane changes were made or if speed was a factor.
