One Injured in Irwindale Crash on Foothill Freeway
IRWINDALE, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Foothill 210 Freeway that happened early Wednesday morning, just east of North Irwindale Avenue.
The traffic accident occurred during the busy morning commute on the eastbound 210 Freeway at around 7:05 a.m. on Dec. 6th, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The drivers of a gray Honda Civic and a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were involved, police said. The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway in Irwindale.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located a female with injuries in the truck. They reported the “truck appeared to be totaled.”
It’s unknown if they transported the woman to a hospital or treated her only on scene.
Meanwhile, tow trucks from Navarro’s Towing removed both vehicles from the freeway due to heavy damage.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash on the Foothill 210 Freeway as well as liability.
