2-Vehicle Crash Marina 90 Freeway, I-405 Freeway in West Los Angeles

WEST LOS ANGELES, Calif., (Nov. 2, 2026) — A traffic collision involving a green Genesis SUV and a black Chevrolet Traverse occurred Monday evening on the transition from the eastbound Marina 90 Freeway to the southbound I-405 Freeway connector in West Los Angeles.

The incident was reported on Nov. 2nd at approximately 6:07 p.m., when the vehicles collided at the freeway interchange. According to the CHP dispatch logs, the Chevrolet Traverse sustained major front-end damage, while the Genesis SUV had significant rear-end damage. The collision blocked the slow lane, causing temporary traffic disruptions in the area.

Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, but it’s unknown at this time if there were any serious injuries. Units were assigned and arrived on-site by 6:42 p.m. Tow services were requested but later canceled. The vehicles were eventually cleared from the roadway to restore traffic flow.

The California Highway Patrol is reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
