2-Vehicle Crash on Cabrillo Highway 1 at Brown Road in Guadalupe, CA

One Injured in Collision on Highway 1

GUADALUPE, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2023) — A two-vehicle injury crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 1 at Brown Road in the Guadalupe area, just west of Santa Maria.

The collision occurred at around 12:05 p.m. on Dec. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Toyota 4 Runner SUV and a red Jeep Gladiator pickup truck were involved. While it’s unknown what caused the collision, the CHP report states the Jeep had front-end damage and required a tow truck.

Also, at least one person was transported to a hospital with injuries, but there are no further details.

Authorities are working to determine fault for the crash on Cabrillo Highway 1 in Guadalupe.
