Tractor and Car Crash Amid Foggy Conditions on Highway 1
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (August 25, 2022) — A Santa Maria crash involving a tractor on Highway 1 happened Thursday morning roughly seven miles north of Black Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 4:43 a.m. on August 25th, according to Noozhawk.
Two people were injured in the collision between the two motorists.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to the crash scene where a Toyota Prius collided with a farm tractor due to unknown circumstances. However, authorities say that conditions were foggy at the time.
Paramedics transported one person with minor injuries and another with moderate injuries to Marian Regional Medical Center, the report said.
However, paramedics did not treat the driver of the farm tractor for injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash on Highway 1 in Santa Maria.
