2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 178, Near Bodfish in Kern County
One Injured in Crash on Highway 178
BODFISH, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2024) — One person was critically injured Wednesday in a crash on Highway 178 at mile marker 32, just southwest of Delonegha Hot Springs in the Bodfish area of Kern County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol
KGET and CHP officials reported the crash between two vehicles left one of the vehicle occupants severely injured, but it’s unknown at this time if others were also hurt.
Meanwhile, paramedics from the Kern County Fire Department responded and performed CPR on the motorist before transporting the person to a hospital.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 178 in Bodfish.
