1 Hospitalized After Crash on 5 Freeway at Hollywood way
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 1, 2018) – One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a two-vehicle collision on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Bob Hope Airport, just south of Sun Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place in the No. 1 lane about 9:56 a.m.this morning between Hollywood Way and Sunland Boulevard. A driver in a Hyundai Elantra and another vehicle were involved. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported one person by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Police are investigating this collision to determine fault. At this time, we do not know what led to this crash and if speed, traffic violations or distractions were factors.
