One Seriously Injured Car Accident on Kern Canyon Road, Shalane Ave
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2024) — One person was seriously injured in a traffic accident Thursday afternoon on Kern Canyon Road (SR-184) in east Bakersfield.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 1:37 P.M. on Dec. 5th, near Shalane Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials are investigating the crash between the drivers of a grey sedan and a white Ford van.
Paramedics responded to the scene on the westbound side of the highway and located one person with severe injuries.
They transported the person to a hospital for further treatment.
