CORONA, California (April 14, 2016) – At least one person was wounded following a hit and run collision on eastbound Highway 91 Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 9:09 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that authorities responded to an emergency calling for aid just west of Maple Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located one person suffering in injury of unknown severity. The trauma was caused by another vehicle which sped off upon impact, as noted in the incident description by the CHP team.
Officers claimed that the suspect’s vehicle was witnessed and described as a dark blue Volkswagen SUV.
Another automobile, a white Volkswagen Jetta was also mentioned in the CHP log. It it possibly the victim’s vehicle but the officers have not confirmed on this matter.
