2-Vehicle Orange Car Accident at 22 and 55 Freeways

Minor Injury Collision on Garden Grove 22 Freeway

ORANGE, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2024) — A minor injury car accident happened Tuesday morning on the eastbound Garden Grove 22 Freeway at the transition to the southbound Costa Mesa 55 Freeway in Orange.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 22 at 8:51 a.m. on Sept. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a Lexus SUV and a red Tesla Model Y were involved, but it’s unknown what caused the collision.

Paramedics responded and treated two people with minor injuries, but there are no further details.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Orange car accident on the 22 Freeway.
