Head-on Crash at Rosamond Intersection

ROSAMOND, Calif. (March 4, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash in Rosamond happened Monday afternoon at Sierra Highway and West Avenue A in Kern County.

The collision occurred at around 1:10 p.m. on March 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black sedan and a white hatchback sedan were involved in a head-on collision at the Rosamond intersection.

One person was reportedly out of their vehicle on the ground with undisclosed injuries, the report said.

There was also debris in the roadway and vehicles were blocking traffic lanes, police said.

Paramedics responded to transport at least one person to a hospital with undisclosed injuries from the traffic accident.

The case remains under investigation.
