HIGHGROVE, Riverside County (May 30, 2014) — A driver in a white Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into another motorist early Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at Center Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5:06 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes in the middle of the freeway. The driver of a red Honda sedan was struck by the pickup and their vehicle was facing sideways in the middle lanes, but the drivers was a woman who was seen climbing out of her damaged vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but there were no further details about injuries.
Police called for Pepes Tow to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene of the Riverside car accident.
“Police will fully investigate this car accident to determine liability,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Anyone who is injured in this crash may hold the negligent party accountable for their losses including medical costs, pain and suffering and lost time off work.”
It’s important that people injured in a crash are aware of their legal rights and it’s just as important to not delay treatment as it could hurt your potential personal injury case.
