UNION CITY: Hit-and-run in Parking Lot at Walmart on Dyer Street

UNION CITY: Hit-and-run in Parking Lot at Walmart on Dyer StreetUNION CITY, California — Three people suffered injuries following a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of a Walmart store on Dyer Street, according to an article by East Bay Times.

On March 19, a female driver allegedly came out of the store agitated, went for her car at the parking lot, and intentionally hit pedestrians in anger. The motorist was in a 1998-2000 silver two-door Honda Accord when she struck at least three people—two adults, and a 13-year-old.

All three pedestrians suffered injuries from the collision and received treatment at the scene shortly after the 6:00 p.m. incident. Officials added that the suspect narrowly missed a 3-year-old and her mother who ran out of the way.

The hit-and-run driver managed to evade store security after walking out from being denied of a refund on suspected stolen batteries. She was described as a white adult, late teens to early 20s, between 5-foot-0 and 5-5, between 100 and 120 pounds with brown hair. The felon was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with a Batman logo on front, black leggings and dark Ugg style boots.
