UPLAND, California (May 11, 2016) — A woman was trapped in her vehicle following a 3-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Mountain Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported about 8:09 a.m. in the middle lanes. The caller told CHP officers there was a woman crying and frantic that she was unable to get out of her vehicle following the crash between a red compact car, a white sedan and a blue sedan. Paramedics sent an ambulance to the scene, but the extent of injuries was not reported.
At least one of the vehicles required towing.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash and liability.
