At Least 3 Vehicles Involved
REDWOOD CITY, California (July 21, 2016) – Three were hospitalized after a traffic collision on northbound Highway 101 Thursday, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP said a white Chevrolet Tahoe, a white Mitsubishi SUV, a silver Honda Civic and possibly two more vehicles collided about 5:30 p.m. The crash reportedly took place just south of Woodside Road off-ramp.
As per the dispatch, fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a total of three people who suffered minor injuries in the multi-car crash. They were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
One of the victims was an occupant in the Mitsubishi who complained of pain upon impact. All three vehicles sustained front-end damage, however the Honda was badly wrecked.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
