FedEx Truck Crash Investigation Underway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2018) — Three people were injured Tuesday night when a FedEx delivery truck crashed into a restaurant window at the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel at 9620 Airport Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash took place about 6:10 p.m. near Los Angeles International Airport.
Firefighters tended to three people who were hurt including the truck driver, a passenger in the vehicle and a third person. The truck’s passenger and the other person who was hurt were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, but the driver declined treatment.
Police are reviewing the circumstances that caused this collision to determine if charges will be filed against this truck driver.
Meanwhile, a person who is injured in a crash such as this one may seek compensation for all the medical expenses, lost wages, property damage and more. We have found, however, that it’s common for insurance companies avoid paying or pay less than the full amount owed to an injured person without a fight.
